Universıty Employees’ Healthy Lifestyle Behaviors And Fastıng Blood Glucose

Background: Adopting healthy lifestyle behaviors is an important step in preventing diseases.Objective: This study aims to determine behaviors, fasting blood glucose (FBG) levels, and waist circumference of employees a public university Turkiye.Methods: descriptive was conducted. A total 191 academic administrative staff were recruited for this study.We used sociodemographic data form the Health-Promoting Lifestyle Profile II (HPLP II) collection. We measured recorded each participant’s FBG (at least 8 hours), height, weight, sheet.Results: Of participants, 77% aged under 40; 74.9% male; 71.2% staff; 48.2% had between 100-125 mg/dl.; 49.2% within normal BMI (Body Mass Index) range; 29.2% women greater than 90 cm, 25.2% men 100 cm. The average HPLP score participants 128.67±18.51.Conclusion: It determined that did not change according age, mg/dl aware their half overweight obese, increased as increased. incidence diabetes might be higher predicted guidelines near future.International Journal Human Health Sciences Vol. 06 No. 04 Oct’22 Page: 383-392
